A room borrows its colour from the floor up. Choose the rug first and the art and cushions have something to answer, which is how Darren builds a room in practice. The 2025 and 2026 designs come in four sizes with matching runners, and the original collection runs 225 x 155 cm to 330 x 240 cm, so one line can carry from the living room down the hallway.

Most rooms want a larger rug than people first pick. The working rule is front legs of every main seat on the rug, and all legs on when the size allows. Every rug page here carries the full size and placement guide, matched to the rooms each size suits. Between two sizes, take the larger one.
